Heraldic plaque in wooden frame with motto,’Virtute Non Verbis’. Leaning against a stage in the hall in the Big School. At one time, this hung to the left of the Gallery at the end of the hall. This is one of a series of 20 from Wycombe Abbey School. It is a hatchment relating to William, 1st Marquis of Lansdowne, who died in 1805.
