View of the small bell-tower from the old Board School, which was demolished in 1974. The bell-tower was then re-installed at Juniper Hill School as a feature near the entrance to the school building. In 1982 a plaque was added to the brick base ‘In remembrance of our friends Sim Sarney and Dorothy Foulkes – Villagers 1982’. Dorothy Foulkes was the wife of the first caretaker at the school, which opened in April 1968.
