Church Street looking towards the junction with High Street and Pauls Row. The Guildhall is in the background with the ‘Black Boy’ public house on the corner of Church Street and High Street. A group of men are chatting outside the ‘International Stores’ as people pass them on the pavement on the west side of Church Street. A solitary car (PK6827) with an AA badge heads for Oxford on the A40 while signage on the Guildhall in the background directs motorists towards London and Marlow.
