Viewing the results list | The results list shows a thumbnail image, a brief description and ref.no. for each hit. Click on any image or summary to view the photo. - the Image tab will be displayed If there are many hits, you can look through the pages with the navigator (see below). The results-list page or image-page may be printed/saved with the icon, or tagged for longer-term storage with the icon |
Page/image navigator | Navigate to the next or previous page/image with > or < buttons. The last (or first) page/image is reached directly with >> (or <<) buttons. Clicking on the navigation text allows direct entry of a page/image number; then entering 'return' (or the tablet-equivalent) will jump to that page/image. |
Viewing images | Clicking the Image tab displays the photo and brief summary. The set of search-hit images may be scrolled through using the navigator buttons The image may be zoomed with the scrollwheel or touch gestures where appropriate. Drag the zoomed image to pan around it. |
Viewing details | Clicking the Details tab displays further information about the photo. The set of search-hit details may be scrolled through using the navigator buttons If you can add to the known details, you can contact us via the Comment button on this page |
Saving/Printing | A results-list page or image-page may be printed/saved with the icon. Alternatively, tag the search-hits of interest by clicking the icon. On clicking the 'tagged only' button, the tag menu is enabled. From this tag menu a pdf file preview may be displayed and saved/printed via your pdf viewer. Two forms of pdf output are available: If you are viewing the result hit-list, that will be output for print or save If you are viewing either the image or details data, then the output is a composite of the image and its details. The set of tagged hits may be discarded by clicking Clear tag list in the tag menu. |
Viewing comments | If there are comments about the photo, click the Comments tab to view them. Note that comments are vetted before display, and removed after the detail is added to SWOP |
