The Old People’s Workshop was founded in 1955 (see BFP65361 to BFP65369) opening two days a week in Oakley Hall, and intended to provide paid employment and companionship for the old folk of the area. The factory S of Easton St became available, and was purchased and refurbished by Mrs Blennerhassett (left) for the organising committee (under the auspices of High Wycombe Central Aid Society)
